Gaia
Born in Southern Italy, Gaia has lived in Milan, Rome, London, and now California. She holds a BA in Political Philosophy and a Master’s in Journalism, and spent much of her early career in fields where words and storytelling were at the center of her work.
After moving to the U.S. and becoming a mother during the pandemic, yoga and Pilates became a way to return to herself. After years of moving between places and through many changes, they offered something simple and profound: a way to find her roots again, not in a place, but within her own body. Through movement, she began to understand the body as a place we can come home to, and a foundation from which we can build strength.
That is what she hopes to bring to her classes: a deeper awareness of the body, a sense of connection, and the opportunity to discover what becomes possible when we feel grounded in ourselves. So often, the limits we experience are stories we have learned to tell to others rather than actual limitations. Her classes are a space to explore those edges, challenge them, and build strength from a place of connection.
Her Pilates classes combine classical Pilates movements with dynamic cardio and strength, creating a full body workout that leaves no part behind. The aim is not only to work the body, but to leave with a stronger sense of it: more present, more connected, and more fully your own.
