ALYSSA NOH

My name is Alyssa. Some call me Lyss, others call me sis.

When I was twelve years young my Uncle’s taught me how to surf and it was the best thing they’ve ever done. I had no idea back then that the ocean and surfing would change my life forever. I have surfed and played soccer my whole life and ended up playing soccer Collegiately in Northern California at Monterey Bay.

The ocean and engaging in this beautiful activity has helped me come to a liberating and freeing sense of self. A gift that truly keeps on giving. A gift I want to give to you! There is joy, skills and life lessons that make way in the practice of learning how to surf and coexist with such a strong life force.

In my free time I love to be lazy and sprawl out in the grass with a good book, good music, burning incense and maybe a nourishing meal. I occasionally skate around at the pump track or hit a workout in my backyard! Or see some good friends for a run, coffee, or lunch. While I love to be active and use my body, slow is my true speed. Prioritizing peace and community above all.

I hope to share the joy and love for nature and surfing with you!
