Julian

Julian Sanchez (he/him) is a college educator, community organizer, and queer performance artist. He is passionate about mentoring the next generation of scholarly activists in the fields of Queer/Jotería Studies and Sociology.  He also works in queer collectives to organize LGBTQ+ events and outreach initiatives, including being featured on the debate web series Jubilee.  When not teaching or engaging in community work, he applies the methodology of queering to his queer performances. He is best known for his work in Sabrina Carpenter's "Tears" music video and his drag/burlesque artistry with several productions around Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Orange County.
